THE REASON BEHIND ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE.

If you've spent time in social media, has seen people have thrown up a bucket of ice water on top.
Although many resulting ridiculous, and a waste of time reality is that behind the frozen water feel your head down until your body no particular reason.
This activity has become viral, you're looking to raise awareness of ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease)
.



WHAT IS ALS?

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's disease" is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Motor neurons from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. Over time, the progressive degeneration of motor neurons in ALS produced results in death of these. When the motor neurons die, the brain loses the ability to initiate and control muscle movement. Due to the progressive effect on the action of voluntary muscles, patients in the final stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.

HOW DOES THE CHALLENGE ?

Anyone wishing to participate or has been challenged by a friend only has to take a bucket of ice water, but lots of ice and throw up but before you do have to challenge other people who have 24 hours to do the challenge, burn video and upload it to social network with the hashtag #alsicebucketchallenge of the person to do so is obliged to make a donation to the ALS, however people who accept the challenge can also make your donation.
