RELAXING CHINESE ONLY CHILD POLICY AND CLOSE THE FIELDS OF REHABILITATION

China has formally approved Saturday expected two resolutions, the relaxation of the one-child policy and the abolition of the reeducation camps. Both decisions have been made by the National People's Congress, the top legislature, after a week of deliberations and a half months after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) announced it.
As of now, some couples may have a second child, in an attempt by the president, Xi Jinping, to relax the population control to help offset a declining workforce. Under the new policy, couples can have two children if one parent is an only child. Before a couple could only have a second child if both parents were only children
